Cara Haughey

I am a graduate student in the Department of Economics at Michigan State University. My job market paper focuses on funding for charitable social services, like food pantries. My research interests lie at the intersection of health, environmental, and urban economics and public finance, with a particular emphasis on how social circumstances influence health and well-being, commonly called social determinants of health.

I will be on the job market in the 2025-2026 academic year.
