Cara Haughey

I am a graduate student in the Department of Economics at Michigan State University. My research interests lie within the fields of public finance and health economics. In particular, I am interested in social determinants of health, or how individual environments and circumstances impact health and wellbeing. Currently, my work looks at principal-agent issues within the realm charitable public good provision  to determine how community support impacts access to public goods. Additionally, my research also includes work on how nutrition access, pollution exposure, and gender impact wellbeing.
